Bollé Safety launches SEAMLESS Vision, an innovative online ordering service for prescription safety glasses, making prescription eyewear accessible everywhere to all professionals.
A pioneer in the prescription market, Bollé Safety, a PPE eyewear specialist (Personal Protective Equipment), announces the launch of its new SEAMLESS Vision service, an online ordering platform for prescription safety glasses designed for industry professionals. Easy to use and at the cutting edge of technology, this interface allows the brand to continue its mission of protecting the vision of every professional, whether they require vision correction or not.
A unique and innovative platform
revolutionising the professional prescription eyewear market
Although essential, many companies sometimes struggle in providing their employees with prescription safety glasses. The time spent outside the workplace, the limited access to optical retail outlets, the ordering process’ complexity, and product quality are just a few of the constraints that hinder their efforts. In response to these challenges, Bollé Safety initiated a Research & Development program to create SEAMLESS Vision, offering concrete solutions to companies by introducing a new alternative that makes prescription eyewear more accessible.
Fast, intuitive, and reliable, this 100% digital platform makes prescription eye protection accessible to everyone, everywhere, from any device equipped with a camera (computer, tablet, mobile phone) and an internet connection. This innovative service simplifies the purchasing process of safety glasses with corrective lenses for companies while providing an optimised user experience. SEAMLESS Vision enables precise measurement of the pupillary distance1 thanks to advanced technology and offers corrective lenses with progressive or single-vision options. A team of Bollé Safety opticians is also available remotely to answer any user questions.
The platform is accessible directly from the Bollé Safety website and allows users to order prescription safety glasses in just a few clicks. The process is simple:
+ OBTAIN A SEAMLESS CARD: Companies receive physical or virtual cards from partner distributors or directly from Bollé Safety and hand them to their employees either in person, online, or in-store.
+ TAKE MEASUREMENTS AND TRY-ON VIRTUALLY: The employee then visits the Bollé Safety website, logging in using the code provided on the card. They measure their pupillary distance and use the virtual try-on feature to select a frame.
+ CHOOSE LENSES: The employee selects their lenses based on their needs: clear lenses or tinted lenses.
+ PLACE THE ORDER: To complete the ordering process, the employee uploads their prescription, enters their contact details (including shipping address), and confirms the order. The Bollé Safety team processes the order under the supervision of the brand’s opticians.
+ RECEIVE DELIVERY: The glasses are manufactured and shipped to the specified delivery address, with the order arriving within 10 business days.
Available in single vision or with a new progressive design
To meet everyone's needs, lenses are available in single vision or with a new progressive design that does not require height measurement(1). For optimal protection, these lenses can be equipped with various tints and treatments, including PLATINUM(2), Bollé Safety’s exclusive anti-fog and anti-scratch coating. The offering includes a selection of 12 flagship models that currently cover the needs of every user.
“We are proud to introduce an innovative lens design to the safety market: progressive lenses without height measurement. This innovation offers a revolutionary design that eliminates the need for traditional height measurements required by opticians. Our progressive lenses provide a wide field of vision, good clarity, and enhanced visual comfort. They adapt to all face shapes and allow for a smoother transition between different vision zones (distance, intermediate, near) thanks to an optimized corridor. With this technological advancement, we can now, through SEAMLESS Vision, enable any user, including those requiring progressive lenses, to order prescription safety glasses, wherever they are.”

Prescription eyewear accessible to everyone,
both professionals and individuals
Although companies are required to provide safety glasses to employees working in hazardous jobs, only a minority offer prescription solutions. Yet, 9 out of 10 accidents can be prevented with proper eye protection (3).
For over 40 years, Bollé Safety, one of the first companies to offer prescription safety glasses, has made the development of prescription eyewear a priority. In fact, 30% of users (4) do not wear their safety glasses because they are not suited to their vision.
In response to the challenges of accessing prescription eyewear, the brand continuously innovates to provide solutions that meet the evolving needs of the market. Bollé Safety is expanding new services make eye protection that meets users' visual needs more accessible: through its 3,000 partner opticians in France, on-site visits, or online with the support of in-house opticians via SEAMLESS Vision, for example.
This innovation complements the ongoing developments made on the Webshop, an online ordering platform for prescription safety glasses that connects distributors, companies, and a network of partner opticians. This B2B service offers unique features for a turnkey solution: a wide selection of models, short production times, real-time tracking, and access for all companies wishing to provide safety or office glasses adapted to their employees' vision needs.
Additionally, Bollé Safety continues to invest in expanding its network of partner opticians to constantly strengthen this offering, allowing companies and users to benefit from in-store fittings and final adjustments directly at eye care professionals’ locations.
"We are thrilled to see to see the continuous growth of the prescription segment within Bollé Safety in recent years.
