1888
Louis Seraphin Bollé founded the company in Oyonnax, cradle of the plastic industry in France. Manufacturing combs and hairdressing accessories.
1925
First Glasses. Bollé shifted to celluloid glasses, material invented by JW Hyatt.
1936
Robert and Maurice Bollé were known as "The Kings of Glasses". They created the crown as a mark of Bollé's quality.
1950
Bollé launched the first Safety Glasses and goggles for the industrial protection.
1981
Launch of the Prescription range.
1994
Bollé Safety Brand and Division were created.
2014
Launch of RUSH+ combined with PLATINUM, anti-scratch / anti-fog coating.
2019
Launch of the GO GREEN sustainability journey.
2021
Tints and technologies. Bollé Safety developed CSP advanced lens-filtering tints and technologies to offer protection in all types of light environments.
2023
GOGGLES. Bollé Safety launched a full new industrial goggle range incl. UNIVERSAL, who won the Red Dot Design Award.
